REVER is an immersive 3D puzzle game that invites players to explore the depths of the human mind, uncovering subconscious memories. In this enigmatic journey through dreams, players will solve spatial and perspective puzzles across three captivating levels, culminating in the revelation of the game's main character's poignant, long-concealed childhood memory. As players navigate this dream-like world, they are encouraged to form their own interpretations of the game's narrative, fostering a deeply personal and emotional connection.
Game Theme
The core theme of REVER centers around dreams, memory, and the subconscious. By skillfully blending aesthetics that mimic dreamscapes—dim lighting, contrasting colors, and unconventional physical rules—the game offers an otherworldly and emotionally resonant experience. The dream is the canvas through which players will explore the inner workings of the protagonist's mind and past.
Visual Aesthetics
In order to create a dream-like experience and through the research of dreams, REVER cleverly uses lighting, colors and twisted physical rules. These artistic choices work harmoniously to create a surreal and emotionally charged environment that reflects the complexity of dreams and memories.

Game Play
Level 1: The Bedroom of Memories
Players awaken in the game character's childhood bedroom, a place steeped in nostalgic dim lighting and filled with objects defying the laws of physics. Three devices drip water droplets from different rooms, and players must manipulate angles to converge the droplets in a central receptacle, revealing clues that propel them forward into the next level.
Level 2: Playground of Reflection
Transitioning into an open-air playground reminiscent of childhood, players face a series of puzzles. Each puzzle encapsulates two scenes from the game character's past. To unlock the hidden memories, players must return specific items to their rightful places in each scene, bridging the gap between past and present.
Level 3: Maze of Repressed Echoes
In the final level, players follow an NPC through a dense forest maze, navigating with the help of spatial sound effects. As they progress, they gain glimpses into the triggering memory of the dream—a deeply suppressed and troubling childhood experience that has haunted the character. This revelation marks the climax of the game, emphasizing the potent influence of childhood memories.
Narrative Impact
REVER endeavors to immerse players in an unforgettable journey through time and space, leaving them with the sensation of awakening from a powerful and introspective dream. By exploring game characters' poignant experiences and unveiling their repressed memories, players are encouraged to reflect on their own lives, make peace with their past, and gain insights into the labyrinth of their own subconscious.
