Scenery Introduction

The scene uses retro colors and vintage objects to create a shabby bedroom, complete with torn wallpaper, rickety furniture and creaky floors. The house has been abandoned, and do you want to find some clues?

The feeling of experience I want to express is confusion and anxiety. We create this atmosphere through a series of interactive objects and events that are inconsistent with common sense to generate anxiety, including flying books, flat computer web pages, automatically generated diaries, disappearing landline phones, constantly ringing alarms, and moving pictures similar as those in Harry Potter, etc. Based on trial play and feedback from friends, we got a sense that the alarm sound is truly very annoying and anxiety-provoking.
